Supply Chain Efficiency and Effectiveness Management Using Decision Support Systems

In supply chain management, decision support systems and time series forecasting play an essential role. The accuracy of time-series predictions is critical for the performance optimization every chain. This article suggests a method based on state-space modelling (SSM) structured forecasting. Technology advance implementations (DSS) have improved considerably. DSS has been used as more restricted functionality database, modelling, user interface, although technical advances made even effective. Web development facilitated inter-organizational decision-making resulted in many innovative current technology new technologies. study multiple configurations shows that SSM are ideal solving problem being studied; particular, guarantees appropriate prediction errors correct computational effort to provide adequate customer order plans.
